A campaign to turn Burgess Hill into a Fairtrade town is gathering mementum as more businesses stock and use ethical products. Stoners Jewellers in Church Road and the NCH Charity Shop are the latest recruits to the campaign to give producers in the developing world a fair rate of pay for goods. Both have begun stocking Fairtrade tea and coffee for staff.The Whole Business, tax experts in Inholmes Park Road, and Modular Cabling Systems in Victoria Way are also backing the campaign and commuters can now buy Fairtrade coffee at Burgess Hill Railway station cafe.
