9 Dec 2006 - Two Fairtrade Christmas events
There were 2 Fairtrade events running in the first two weeks in December that were very successful in spreading the Fairtrade message. The group had a stall at the Christmas Festival on 2nd December which attracted a huge amount of interest - Lydia baked some wonderful cakes and mince pies, and served them with some home-made punch - all made with Fairtrade ingredients.
The following week, the group held a very well attended coffee morning in the Martlets Hall Foyer. Over £100 was taken. In addition, there were Tearcraft and Traidcraft stalls which provided people with a vast array of gifts to choose from.

We are very sad to see Lydia move away from Burgess Hill - she has been such a great help in our campaign. More volunteers needed please!!
